January 26th, 2010 will mark the 20th Anniversary of the openeing of the State BasebalL Softball Centre.

Despite the doomsayers, we are still here, and believe that we play an important role in assisting Baseball and Softball to complete their season.

We will celebrate this date with a small official function on January 26,

Unfortunately, we have not been able to arrange a game for this evening, due to the unavailability of players, both Baseball & Softball.

Anyone wanting to tour the Centre is more than welcome to come in and have a look around on this  evening.

The State Baseball Softball Centre is located in Merton Street, Altona.

Take the Westgate Freeway to the Laverton North exit, turn left, first right is Burns Rd, down here for approximately 500 metres, turn right into Harcourt Road, and then left into Merton Street. Once you enter Burns Road, you will be able to see the Centre. [Melway Map 53, Reference G8]
